why is it unfortunate?murphy was a professional comedian by 18, it was not necessary for his career to get a degree.that he didn't bother to get one shows he has no interest in education, it is not necessarily a sign of a lack of intelligence.discussing who is more intelligent is pointless as there is no definitive proof, not even a masters degree.

Unfortunately, education is a better sign of intelligence than never bothering to get one.

having a masters degree does not make cosby more intelligent than murphy, only more educated. you can not criticize a comedian for making his money solely through comedy, thats the definition of his occupation.cosby's was comedy of observation, all he could educate people on was human nature, comedians were doing that long before cosby, and they're still doing it now.also cosby may have done comedy"for fun" but he still took a cheque which means thats where he earned his living,just like murphy.

Bill Cosby has a masters degree, which is a sign of intelligence, and also patience and time. Eddie Murphy earned his money and fame through comedy alone; however, Bill Cosby most likely never needed comedy, but did it for fun, and to educate people on every day occurances in the form of comedy. Note: don't take "educate" as a literal form.

I can't believe you saw him. What city? I'm such a big fan, I'd be totally starstruck. I live in L.A. & see people like Vince Vaughn & Brook Shields all the time, but this man...he's a brilliant comic with integrity.

I just saw him at Carolines an hour ago. He was excellent. Got his autograph on a napkin. He asked if he could borrow the pen to sign other peoples stuff and i said he could keep it.

I Love Sinbad. He is Soooooooooo Funny!!!!!!!! He Doesn't use bad Laguage to tell his jokes and,I can watch him in front of my kids.Sinbad is the Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
